GREEN GUIDE: How sustainable is your bathroom cabinet? Alice Robertson challenges beauty's eco credentials

WHAT'S THE STORY?

Rehab was founded by friends Vicky and Anastasia in 2022 when they launched their Dose 1.0 Hair Oil in biodegradable capsules. Now they're back with a waste-free hair product in the form of shampoo sheets, perfect for travelling. Slot them into your hand luggage and there'll be no extra weight or worry about liquid restrictions.

WHY SHOULD I BUY?

They're handy and they're clever – so clever that there's a patent pending. Simply step into the shower, rip open the sachet and drop the packaging (made from 100 per cent wood pulp, it dissolves completely in water).

Moisten the sheet in your hand, lather up and apply. The product contains sustainably sourced rosemary oil, which is currently going viral for its power to stimulate hair growth.

WHY SHOULDN'T I BUY?

The shampoo sheets are made in Hong Kong. However, they're exported by sea, so there are no air miles.

THE EXTRA MILE

The shampoo formula is plastic-, sulphate- and paraben-free, as well as being vegan.
